We start with a complete technical and business review in order to optimise coverage design, premium rates, as well as policy terms and conditions for our clients.  As such we are able to offer strategic value to our customers through a number of insurance, financial and engineering related services for all aspects of Pre-launch, Launch, Post-separation, In-orbit, and Third Party Liability during the entire life cycle of a satellite project.  Key components to our success are:

  • The SPI team have an extensive expertise and experience over the past 30 years in bringing the cross sector capability to space insurance and risk management, consistently placing satellite, construction, launch and in orbit programs at best rates and terms with the underwriting community on a worldwide basis.

  • In addition to space insurance, in coordination with our engineering partners, RKF Engineering, we offer a full range of system engineering and design services; development of operation concept documents, system specifications, and interface control documents.  This helps us to clearly understand and protect the key aspects of their business requirements, assess  insurance implications and translate them in the best light within an insurance policy.

  • Our team of experts have been involved in 100’s of satellite design, construction, payload processing, launch services and space insurance programs

We represent a wide range of traditional and non traditional space related clients from satellite manufacturers, owners, operators, transponder lessees and lessors, payload processors, launch service providers, banks and other financial institutions , and others.
