| market, particularly since the Saudi Insurance law was passed by SAMA, the event provided the opportunity to reflect on progress made to date and on the developments and challenges that lie ahead. It was also an excellent networking opportunity and many of the issues raised were debated well into the night in the palatial surroundings of the Marriott hotel.
UIB also played a key role in this important event with a presentation given by Isaac Sahhar entitled The Implications of Insuring Major Construction Projects, which stimulated much audience debate. Isaac also moderated several sessions and UIB’s Karim Jabri from the DIFC office also appeared as a panellist. Overall, this was a successful event at an exciting time for the market and UIB very much looks forward to playing an even greater supporting role next year |
